General Instructional Objective :

The aim of this course is to introduce the students to the structured approach of designing a chemical product. After a thorough introduction of the product concept design path (following the tradition of Cussler and Moggridge) the course utilizes several case studies of product design in order to introduce the concepts of specialty chemicals, micro- and macrostructure products and devices for chemical changes.
